AK Real Colors - British Light Mud

AK Real Colors is a high-quality lacquer-based paint formulated with an advanced chemical composition that offers superior performance compared to many other brands on the market. Designed for modelers, it provides excellent flow through an airbrush, strong adhesion to surfaces, and dries smoothly with a soft, durable finish. Once cured, it withstands all types of weathering products without losing adhesion or quality.

For best results, the paint may be thinned with AK Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner (RC701 or RC702) or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Applications:

• This color is used as the base color of British Army vehicles in North Africa and Middle East (and later Italy) from April 1943.
• It remained in use during the operations in Italy until the end of war, although in 1944 newly delivered vehicles to this area often retained the US Olive Drab overall finish or (since April 1944) the S.C.C. No.15 Olive Drab finish with or without patterning.
