AK Real Colors - Insignia White FS 17875

AK Real Colors is a high-quality lacquer-based paint formulated with an advanced chemical composition that offers superior performance compared to many other brands on the market. Designed for modelers, it provides excellent flow through an airbrush, strong adhesion to surfaces, and dries smoothly with a soft, durable finish. Once cured, it withstands all types of weathering products without losing adhesion or quality.

For best results, the paint may be thinned with AK Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner (RC701 or RC702) or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Applications:

• Color used for painting lower surfaces of US Navy carrier-based aircraft from 1955 until the early 1980s.
• Colour of fuselage top surfaces of US Navy patrol (ASW/AEW) aircraft from October 1958 until May 1993.
• Upper surface color of US Navy SH-3 Sea King helicopters from 1971 until the 1980s.
• Used for painting non-cockpit interior surfaces of USAF (from the 1960s until today) and US Navy (from 1956 until 1993) aircraft.
