AK Real Colors - Earth Red FS 30117

AK Real Colors is a high-quality lacquer-based paint formulated with an advanced chemical composition that offers superior performance compared to many other brands on the market. Designed for modelers, it provides excellent flow through an airbrush, strong adhesion to surfaces, and dries smoothly with a soft, durable finish. Once cured, it withstands all types of weathering products without losing adhesion or quality.

For best results, the paint may be thinned with AK Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner (RC701 or RC702) or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Applications:

• One of the colors used for painting US Army vehicles in the Red Desert variant of MERDC scheme.
• One of the colors possibly used in the ad-hoc desert schemes applied to some USMC helicopters during the 1990-1991 Gulf War.
  
• Also used in some desert schemes of US Navy aggressor squadrons (F-5E, F/A-18A & B).
• A fair match to one of the colors available for painting disruptive camouflage on US Army vehicles during the World War II.
