AK Real Colors - Grey FS 36081

AK Real Colors is a high-quality lacquer-based paint formulated with an advanced chemical composition that offers superior performance compared to many other brands on the market. Designed for modelers, it provides excellent flow through an airbrush, strong adhesion to surfaces, and dries smoothly with a soft, durable finish. Once cured, it withstands all types of weathering products without losing adhesion or quality.

For best results, the paint may be thinned with AK Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner (RC701 or RC702) or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Applications:

• One of the colors used in the Euro One scheme applied to most of the USAF TAC aircraft in the 1980s (and the 1990s in the case of A-10).
  
• Base color of US Navy patrol (ASW/AEW) aircraft from 1955 until 1971 (with the fuselage top surfaces being painted FS 17875 Insignia White from 1958).
  
• Overall color of US Navy carrier-based helicopters from 1957 until the 1980s (except SH-3 Sea King from 1971).
  
• Overall color of US Navy MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopters from 1980s until today.
