AK Real Colors is a high-quality lacquer-based paint formulated with an advanced chemical composition that offers superior performance compared to many other brands on the market. Designed for modelers, it provides excellent flow through an airbrush, strong adhesion to surfaces, and dries smoothly with a soft, durable finish. Once cured, it withstands all types of weathering products without losing adhesion or quality.

For best results, the paint may be thinned with AK Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner (RC701 or RC702) or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Applications:

• Used for painting upper surfaces (and undersurfaces of wing folding parts) of US Navy & USMC carrier-based aircraft finished in the Blue Grey/Light Grey scheme from mid-October 1941 until January 1943. This scheme was also ordered for all US Navy shore-based aircraft in February 1942
