AK Real Colors is a high-quality lacquer-based paint formulated with an advanced chemical composition that offers superior performance compared to many other brands on the market. Designed for modelers, it provides excellent flow through an airbrush, strong adhesion to surfaces, and dries smoothly with a soft, durable finish. Once cured, it withstands all types of weathering products without losing adhesion or quality.

For best results, the paint may be thinned with AK Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner (RC701 or RC702) or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

• Lower surface color of RAF bombers in the 1970s-1980s.
  
• Lower surface color of RAF interceptors (Phantom, Tornado F.3) from the late 1970s until the 2000s (Tornado)/withdrawal from service (Phantom).
  
• Lower surface color of RAF Nimrod patrol aircraft (from the 1960s), Canberra PR.9 recon aircraft, Victor and VC10 tankers from the 1980s until their withdrawal from service.
