beyond elite

#jasta_gothaforce isn’t ur typical grandfather’s jagdstaffel. it’s where razor-winged biplanes meet the spirit of the samurai, where flugzeugstoff collides with kabuki drama, and where resin and turnbuckles give way to pure imagination.

born for the bold and the beautiful who simply refuse just to be chained by historical accuracy and dare to look beyond

#gothaforce takes the canvas of World War I aviation and re-inks it with a Japanese twist, part warband, part dreamscape, all firepower. this is no what-if. this is an elite force of will, a celebration of creativity for die-hard #gothafans who know that the only real rule is: be bold ... where no one has gone before

she doesn't just lead #jgf ... she is #gothaforce

ltn. yoko mizuno

a phantom ace with eyes sharp as a hawk and a presence that bends the air around her, mizuno embodies the perfect fusion of discipline and daring, where other pilots see rules ... she sees canvas, where others dogfight for survival ... she duels for art. a renegade in silk and steel, mizuno welds bushidō precision to the chaos of the dogfight, commanding #jgf like a storm in human form.

draped in the rising sun of her heritage yet flying under the lozenge banner of the impossible, she cuts through the clouds as both warrior and muse. her machine, I07 seven samurai, is no relic, it’s a statement, a fusion of japanese fire and german engineering, painted in schemes that defy sanity and seduce the eye.

to her pilots she is more than a leader, she’s the embodiment of rebellion, proof that imagination has no chain of command. a woman in command when history said it was impossible, mizuno reminds us: the only limits are the ones we accept.

for die-hard #gothafans, she’s not just the squadron leader, she’s legend incarnate , mizuno isn’t just history rewritten, she’s history unleashed.

ripping skies ... kicking badass

flugzeugstoff ... geisha style

often, the first ideas are the best ... those rare, fine moments when something just feels right from the start ... and when you are instantly in sync

ronny bar’s stunning japanese style lower lozenge interpretation is just one of them ... the balance of colors, the harmony of tones, and the way it plays against the red fuselage ... it just works, in flawless fashion

SSW DIII - I21

a2 billboard ... geisha style

our japanese fans were so kind to remind us that pilots in japan don’t usually flaunt their significant others in such a visual way.

and while we aim to be respectful of cultural heritage and tradition, sometimes there are just simply exceptions to the rules

full replication of LO! in kanji would feel a bit overcrowded and lose its impact ... it's why, in the end, we chose a different path, to express it more visually, distilled down to a single character: the exclamation mark
