Sand & Ballast Freeze is a specialized capillary-action acrylic adhesive formulated to permanently bond loose materials such as sand, gravel, rubble, ballast, and other terrain textures without disturbing their natural structure. Thanks to its exceptionally low surface tension, it penetrates deep into the material by capillary action, ensuring a strong bond while preserving even the finest details.

Unlike conventional adhesives, Sand & Ballast Freeze is capable of bonding everything from micronized sands as fine as 40 μm (0.04 mm) to coarse gravel several millimeters in size. During application, the terrain remains workable, allowing you to create realistic footprints, tire tracks, track imprints, dunes, and other surface deformations with ease.
