AK8231 Resin Standing Water is a low-odor, two-component colored resin specially formulated to recreate realistic standing water effects in dioramas, scenic bases, and scale model environments. Perfect for ponds, puddles, canals, flooded areas, and other still water features, it delivers a convincing depth and natural appearance.

The resin and hardener are supplied in separate bottles, with two syringes included for accurate measuring. The recommended mixing ratio is 2:1, and the mixture should be blended thoroughly while minimizing agitation to avoid trapping air bubbles. Once poured into a sealed area free of leaks, the resin cures in approximately 24 hours, depending on layer thickness and ambient temperature.

For optimal results, a maximum pouring thickness of 5 cm per application is recommended. Easy to use and highly effective, AK8231 allows modelers to create stunning, realistic water effects with confidence.
