AK Real Colors - IDF Early Sand Yellow

AK Real Colors is a high-quality lacquer-based paint formulated with an advanced chemical composition that offers superior performance compared to many other brands on the market. Designed for modelers, it provides excellent flow through an airbrush, strong adhesion to surfaces, and dries smoothly with a soft, durable finish. Once cured, it withstands all types of weathering products without losing adhesion or quality.

For best results, the paint may be thinned with AK Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner (RC701 or RC702) or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Applications:

• Standard color of IDF vehicles and military equipment during the 1950s and 1960s (including the Six Day War), it was widely used until the Yom Kippur War in 1973, on tanks such as the AMX-13, Shermans, early M48 Pattons and the majority of the Centurion (Sho’t).
• After the Yom Kippur War it was still in use in the South and the Sinai Peninsula.
