AK Real Colors - Dark Gull Grey FS 36231

AK Real Colors is a high-quality lacquer-based paint formulated with an advanced chemical composition that offers superior performance compared to many other brands on the market. Designed for modelers, it provides excellent flow through an airbrush, strong adhesion to surfaces, and dries smoothly with a soft, durable finish. Once cured, it withstands all types of weathering products without losing adhesion or quality.

For best results, the paint may be thinned with AK Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner (RC701 or RC702) or other thinners designed for lacquer-based paints.

Applications:

• Used for painting cockpits of USAF and US Navy aircraft from 1953 until today.
  
• One of the colors used in the Tactical Paint Scheme applied to USMC AV-8 Harrier fleet from the 1990s until 2014.
  
• One of the colors used in the so-called Ferris Scheme evaluated by the US Navy in 1976.
  
• Also used in some USAF aggressor schemes (F-16C).
