Thanks to its formulation, this glue can be used to bond complex 3D printed parts that require extensive handling and extremely strong adhesion. The VMS Flexy 5K 3D formula is optimized for thermoplastics, including PLA resin, so even multimedia models can be bonded without problems: the resin-polystyrene bonds will be as strong as the resin-resin bonds. Like the original Flexy 5K glue, it forms a flexible bond that can withstand much greater stress than traditional cyanoacrylate glue, which is brittle.
Storage: The opened round bottle with a pin in the cap (new formula) has a shelf life of 12-24 months or more (if stored in the refrigerator, in an opaque box). The unopened bottle has a shelf life of 24-36 months or more, provided it is stored below 10°C (in the refrigerator, in an opaque box). The glue can be stored in the refrigerator but cannot be frozen. The shelf life depends greatly on usage, i.e., how often the glue is opened and used, so the indicated values ​​may vary. Storage at temperatures above 15°C and exposure to sunlight will shorten the shelf life.
