HD Diorama Texture N°8 Fine Grey Earth is a specially selected fine grey earth powder designed to create exceptionally realistic, scale-appropriate terrain with a beautifully natural surface texture. Its unique grey colour closely resembles primer, allowing you to see the final texture and relief of your groundwork immediately after fixing—something that is difficult to achieve with traditional white materials such as plaster.

Ideal for creating roads, embankments, fields, disturbed ground, and general terrain, this versatile texture provides an excellent foundation for further painting and weathering. Once fixed, it can be painted in any desired shade while retaining its authentic surface character and fine detail.

Fix the material using VMS Sand & Ballast Freeze for superior capillary action, or apply it over VMS PVA Glue for traditional groundwork techniques.

Particle size: 0.001–0.5 mm.

Recommended techniques: capillary action with VMS Sand & Ballast Freeze, sprinkling over VMS PVA Glue.

Combine with: other VMS textures and pigments, VMS Smart Mud XL.
