HD Diorama Texture N°10 Smooth Fine Light Sand is an ultra-fine premium sand developed to create exceptionally realistic, scale-appropriate terrain with a smooth and highly refined surface texture. Its extremely fine particle size makes it an essential foundation material for convincing groundwork, where the interplay of fine, medium, and coarse textures creates the most natural results.

Perfect for roads, compacted earth, dusty surfaces, embankments, and general groundwork, this versatile texture can be used on its own or mixed with larger VMS texture materials to introduce additional variation and realism. Its neutral light tone also makes it an excellent base for further painting and weathering.

Fix the material using VMS Sand & Ballast Freeze for superior capillary action, or apply it over VMS PVA Glue for traditional groundwork techniques.

Particle size: 0.001–0.14 mm.

Recommended techniques: capillary action with VMS Sand & Ballast Freeze, sprinkling over VMS PVA Glue.

Combine with: other VMS textures and pigments, VMS Smart Mud XL.
